BRISBANE FASHION’S FINEST HOUR –
MERCEDES-BENZ FASHION FESTIVAL WRAPS UP FOR 2010
Rising to the benchmark as one of Australia’s most celebrated fashion capitals, Brisbane’s highly anticipated Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane – hosted by South Bank, featured the arrival of next season’s Spring/Summer collections in a six day showcase from Saturday, August, 7 to Friday August, 13.
Festival Director Lindsay Bennett says the 2010 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival has confirmed Brisbane’s rising status in the Australian fashion industry.
“Never again will Queensland be seen as the unfashionable State. This has been the most successful Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival to date, with sold out tickets and an unprecedented amount of top designers and retailers participating. We have garnered interest from the best local and national media and are so proud of what we have achieved. This year the talent in Brisbane has been totally outstanding and it is being recognized,” he said.
